Student Government Candidate Statement, Matt Apy

*Disclaimer* The following statement is posted as received from the candidate, no edits have been made.I've been a Senator for the past two years and it has been an amazing experience for me. During my tenure, I have spearheaded our "Donuts and Dialogue" events and advocated for the addition of more bike racks for the campus. But for next year, I have even higher goals and ambitions for the college. For example, I plan to have a tram system installed to transport student between the parking lots and their classes. I also believe that students are not attentive enough in class. To help solve this problem, I will advocate for the installation of electrodes on the desks in the classrooms so that instructors may shock sleeping students to wake them up. Hopefully these additions will make the environment at Parkland more conducive to learning.
