The four months between the fall and spring baseball seasons are deemed the "off-season" to most fans and players. However, the Parkland Cobras baseball program thinks otherwise.

The Cobras baseball program has seen its share of successful African-American players. One of the most notable was class of 2003 outfielder Michael Coles from Hammond, Ind.

The Parkland Cobras baseball program and head coach Matt Kennedy are beginning to grow accustomed to seeing their players move on. This past week twelve players signed national letters of intent to continue their playing careers at four year schools next year.
