Parkland Golf heads to Region 24 Tournament

Five Parkland Golfers will head to Stone Wolf Golf Course in Fairview Heights on Sunday and Monday as they will compete in the Region 24 Golf Tournament with a bid to Nationals on the line. Sophomores Bryan Ideus and Matt Schoop will be joined by a trio of freshman, Matt Hart, Tyler Schmutz, and Lewis Martin in the two-day 54 hole event.

The first 18 holes will get underway around 1 pm on Sunday before a long and grueling 36 holes on Monday starting at 8:30 am. PC will compete in a 10 team field with the winning team advancing to Nationals. In addition to the top team, the best 5 lowest scoring individuals not on the winning team, will also qualify for a trip to Nationals in Scottsboro, Alabama in mid-May.
